Was out the other day with my family walking from the house to Sandnes center.  And went to check a few shops  checking bits & pieces of decorations for the cafe.  The last stop was at Maxi and Spar kjøp, went up to Fretex to check their decors and stumble upon their book section.  Browse through their collection of second hand books available. And guess what treasure I found...loads of culinary books mostly in norwegian and some in  english. Was lucky enough to buy books from Weber, titles from Ingrid Espelid Hovig - the grand lady of  cooking in Norway, you could say she is the Julia Child in this part of the world.  I came home with total of 10 books on hand and paid just a few hundred crowns.
