Pork meat patties -- Medisterkaker

Pork meat patties or as norwegians call it 'medisterkaker' is an accompaniment to serving 'ribbe'/roasted pork belly.

Ingredients:

1 kg ground pork (70% meat & 30% fat)
1 tbs salt
2.5 tbs potato flour or cornstarch
1/2 liter milk
3/4 tsp ground pepper
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
a bit of oil and butter for pan frying

Combine all the dry ingredients together and mix it well with the ground pork. Add milk and mix well.
Heat the pan and add the oil & butter. Take a spoonful of meat mixture and form into small patties.  Once the pan is hot and butter is melted, pan fry the patties until it is cook.  You may place it in the oven to keep it warm or let it cool for later use. You may place it in the refrigerator or freeze the patties.
